Infrared Sauna

Three years ago my back was in so much pain I considered getting an injection for the first time to calm the pain from too much inflammation. Instead, my D.O. and MRI doctor wrote me a referral for a personal infrared sauna for detoxification. I also received six treatments of needling combined with healing laser and Massage from a Chiropractor that stabilized me. I’ve consistently sweated in my sauna 2-3 times per week excluding July and August for three years and feel fantastic! I did have to give up running in exchange for 30 minutes of elliptical machine 2-3 days per week. I also had to give up forward bends so I do squats instead during Yoga. I highly recommend using an infrared sauna which heats you up from the Inside out. I like 140 degrees for 30 minutes, which leaves me drenched in sweat. I find it very relaxing and I get the benefits of light therapy. The red light is my favorite because it’s said to heal your skin. I have all the other colors of the rainbow to use whenever I want, with or without the heat on.
