Journaling

The best advice I received in high school was to Journal my thoughts often.  I have always had a journal close at hand, and saved all of them.  It takes discipline to sit with yourself and slow down enough to physically write your thoughts down.  The beautiful thing is that it can slow you down enough to process the emotions that you are writing about.  Later if you give yourself the time to read them,  it’s amazing how you completely forgot what you wrote about, and from a more mature age you gain new understanding about yourself.IMG_8102
