Welcome to Shawna Massage, LLC since 1995
The ancient Art of Healthy Touch is my favorite way to give and receive relaxation. Helping people to unwind their body tension so they can feel their best, continues to be my passion. With an open heart and intuitive touch, my hands guide your body into reducing stress with rocking, compression, and classic Swedish massage therapy strokes with a focus on breathing. After your body is warmed up, I find the spots that need specific muscle release by using the right amount of pressure for your body whether that is light, medium, or deep. Organic jojoba with shea butter moisturizes my clients skin and flannel sheets add to the cozy experience. I also use the highest quality of Aromatherapy to assist in your relaxation and breathing.
Research has proven the benefits of receiving Massage Therapy on a regular basis. My clients and I are faithful to receive once a month Massage as part of our preventative Health maintenance routine.

I’ve taken over 1000 hours of Massage Therapy education classes in many different types of modalities like Aromatherapy, Warm Stone Massage, (specifically La Stone Therapy in basic, advanced, and master classes), Reiki energy healing level 1 and 2, Living anatomy, Massage for PTSD, body/mind communication, lymphatic massage, forearm techniques, Neuromuscular therapy, acupressure, chair massage, maya abdominal massage, CranioSacral therapy, Somatic Experiencing, and Facial Freedom Techniques. For a decade I attended Yoga and Anatomy classes at Gray Bear Lodge retreat center and gave Massages to the guests at the events. I became a Doula in 2005 and assisted a dozen women giving birth, before my natural birth experience in 2007. I took the Crisis line for sexual assault training in 2004, and volunteered on the crisis hotline helping women in the ER go through the process of a rape kit and reporting to detectives of their rape. I served on the board for the Rape Recovery and Prevention Center of Murfreesboro, TN and organized a fund raiser for the center in 2006. I enjoy supporting local charities. I have also had the pleasure of massaging musicians backstage at several Bonnaroo Festivals. Currently, I am leading a tribe of Alive Hospice Volunteers to give Healthy Touch to the dying and their loved ones.
